Lidl in the German group Lidl & Schwarz has chosen Temper as Heat Transfer Fluid fluid in their new stores.
Lidl has over 3 000 stores in Germany and more than 8 500 stores in Europe.
Energy Improvements
Lidl is constantly striving to reduce energy consumption and reduce environmental impacts of its stores. In the new store concept Lidl has among other things improved areas like: lighting, heat recovery, centralized store-management, underfloor heating and floor cooling.
Lidlt also works to optimize refrigerants and HTF. Lidl use the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290/Propan (GWP = 3).
As HTF Lidl uses Temper -15 that is an environmentally friendly and energy efficient HTF that well fits in a future-proof concept.
So far, about 60 stores has been built with Temper as HTF.
