Temper is a Heat Transfer Fluid for indirect cooling systems and is used on both the cold and warm side of the system. This type of system rarely exceeds +30 °C and our tables of thermal data has been built up after this.
Now Temper is more and more used in other types of systems and temperatures. Like in a large solar heating system or to replace energy-consuming electric defrost of the air coolers in a CO2 plant.
With higher temperature there is an increased risk of corrosion. This makes it especially important to use a more noble material in the system such as stainless steel and also to reduce the oxygen level in the system. See Temper installation guidelines for further information.
